Yo!! The DOIN STUFF in MEMPHIS was an amazing event. It was truly a conversation about how to make things happen for you and your vision in Memphis, or anywhere for that matter. The 4 guests, Cynthia Daniels – Creator of Memphis Black Restaurant Week, Josh Horton – Founder of Creative Works, Dana James Mwangi – Founder of Cheers Creative, and Victor Sawyer – Concert Musician and Teacher at Stax Music Academy, shared stories, triumphs, and a few tears. It really became an open conversation among friends. The entire room became a family: A family of creatives, thinkers, doers, leaders and dreamers. It was a pleasure to host such an amazing group of people. I can’t wait until the next one.
Here are a few photos from that night taken by Averell Mondie. Enjoy.
